Online Privacy Policy

At Atlantic Travel Center, protecting the confidentiality and privacy of information you provide to us when using our website is as important to us as when you deal directly with us in our store.

Types of Information Collected

Our online privacy policy pertains to “online” data which we collect. This data is of two basic types:

  1. anonymous information your computer and web browser makes available to websites you visit, and
  2. personally identifying information you may volunteer to us.
  • Anonymous data may include information about individual pages visited within our website, the type of browser you use and its release version.

Information personally identifying you is collected when you volunteer it, such as your name, telephone number and address. This information may be provided, for example, where you fill out one of our online forms requesting a service, or apply for a position with us.

Use of Information Collected

We may use anonymous information to track which portions of our website are most popular and to understand how to improve and customize our website. We do not use this information to determine what individual users read on our website, and we do not link any of the anonymous data collected to any personal information you may submit.

Atlantic Travel Center does not disclose or use your personal information for purposes other than that for which it was collected, except with your consent or as required by law. We do not give, rent or sell your personal information to any outside company or individual other than our affiliated companies and those contracted to assist with our marketing or business development efforts. We may use this information to help you take full advantage of our product and service offerings. If you decide not to receive such information, you may indicate this on forms where indicated or contact us at the address below.

In addition, if we are permitted or required by law to do so, we may disclose your personal information. For example, we may disclose your information to a government institution if required to comply with a provincial or federal statute or regulation, or the institution asserts its lawful authority to obtain the information. We may also disclose your personal information where there are reasonable grounds to believe the information could be used in the investigation of an unlawful activity.
